| Having worked with a
broad range of artists as a studio musician and on-stage guitarist and keyboardist/pianist
has afforded Skip both invaluable experience and also a vast knowledge of playing styles
and musical genres. While favorites include Jimmy Buffet, Eric Clapton, Santana and George
Strait, his music spans generations from the 40s big-band era to the smooth-jazz of today.
Many local and national artists make it a point to come by where Skip is performing to sit
in. Fans agree that when they come to a performance, they will have fun. His
specialty is working close up to the audience, preferably in a small to medium size club
or piano bar type of venue. Various Dallas area clubs include Farfallo, Papillon, Swan Court, Baby Doe's, Stone Trail, The Enclave, Mignon, Arthur's, Cappuccino, Bent Tree Grill, Gator's and The Outer Marker.
